Lamont Black is an educator, speaker, and author with a focus on financial innovation. Most of his activity centers on AI, crypto, and blockchain. He currently serves as an Associate Professor of Finance at DePaul University in Chicago. Prior to joining DePaul, he worked as an economist at the Federal Reserve in Washington, D.C. He teaches a mix of undergraduate and graduate courses in business technology, data analytics, cryptocurrency, and blockchain, as well as money, banking, and capital markets.
